Arriving in Crespi d'Adda
The village of Crespi d’Adda is located in the municipality of Capriate San Gervasio, in the province of Bergamo.
It is can be reached easily from the A4 Torino-Trieste motorway, taking the Capriate exit. After the toll booth, there is a roundabout. Take the third exit. Soon after, you will come to another roundabout. Take the first exit to the right, direction Trezzo and Milan. When you arrive at the traffic light, turn left on Via Crespi. The road will begin to slope downward and there is a road sign announcing the entrance to Crespi d’Adda.
Access to Crespi d’Adda is free.
From April to September, on weekends and holidays from 1.00pm to 7.00pm, the village becomes a pedestrian-only zone. You should therefore leave your car outside the village. Parking is located after the motorway bridge, near the cemetery of Capriate San Gervasio.
Even when access is not prohibited, it is preferable to leave your car outside the company town. You have the chance to enjoy a nice view starting from the top of the hill, close to the houses of the parish priest and doctor.
The most convenient parking spaces inside the village are located in Piazzale Vittorio Veneto, near the pinewood.
Buses are not permitted to stop anywhere within Crespi d’Adda, except in the designated parking area, near the pinewood, as designated by roadsigns.
From Milan you can take the green line metro to Gessate. Then take the bus to Trezzo, which departs from Via Carlo Biffi, 9.
Motorway bus line
Close to the motorway exit, in Capriate San Gervasio, there is a motorway bus line. Buses link the Orio al Serio airport to Milan and vice versa, stopping at Capriate San Gervasio. It takes about a quarter of an hour to walk from the bus stop to Crespi d’Adda.
